WASHINGTON: As winter and the holiday season approach, set aside your every day cares, and bring the family to enjoy one of Washington's most beloved holiday traditions. A Celtic Christmas celebrates the winter season with an evening of music full of warmth and good cheer nestled amidst holiday greens and candlelight in Washington's Historic Dumbarton Church that The Washington Post calls “enjoyable for both children and adults.”

Linn Barnes and Allison Hampton – on Irish bagpipes, lute and Celtic harp – with percussionist Steve Bloom and flutist Joseph Cunliffe – perform an array of traditional carols for the season along with Celtic favorites. XM Radio's Robert Aubry Davis adds to the merriment with his delightful reading of Dylan Thomas's popular “A Child's Christmas in Wales” set to music.
