Choral Arts Society of Washington Baroque Requiem by Candlelight
It was in Dresden, centuries ago that a prince commanded the great master of early Baroque Heinrich Schutz, to compose a royal requiem. The Musikalische Exequien remains one of the most sublimely beautiful choral works ever written. Washington's own Choral Arts Society under the direction of the venerable Norman Scribner, sings this choral masterpiece.
